After lunch we went to Capel Manor, a lovely house and gardens.
We met Eli, a friend of Emily's, who showed us around. There were so many ponds and huts and gazebos to explore. And a maze. I'm very glad Emily didn't drop me there as I'm not sure I would have found my way home. There was a heavy horse show which was not very interesting. It was at that point that Emily felt she needed another ice-cream. She was so careful to make sure I didn't get any near me again. Overall, a great and very sunny and outdoor weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing what I get up to with the next family. |
