Movie Help Page

Playing MPEGs:

Windows Media Player should run the MPEGs without a problem.

However, some PCs are not configured to run MPEGs. You can either seek out a plugin or download the alternative AVI files (where offered). These are a little larger, but have the advantage of running on most PCs.

Playing AVIs:

Use either Windows Media Player to play the avi file, or else your web browser.

If the AVI file is opened in the browser window, use the right mouse button to access the play commands.

The movie files are best downloaded first, and then played locally on your PC. If you do this, you will not need to download them again to replay them anytime you want to. The steps are:

To download the file:

  1. Click the right mouse button over the movie link to access the mouse menu
  2. Netscape users then select the 'Save link as...' command
  3. IE users then select the 'Save Target As...' command
  4. Save the movie file in a directory
